San Francisco

Assembled (www.assembled.com) aims to transform and elevate customer support. Our workforce management platform helps modern support teams deliver a world-class customer experience and staff teams more effectively. Our customers include companies like Stripe, Glossier, and Looker.

We're a scrappy team that believes in crafting high-quality software that solves real, day-to-day problems. Members of our team have built iconic products at Google, Palantir and Stripe among others, and contributed to major open source projects like Ruby on Rails.

You will be our first recruiting hire — focused on growing our engineering and design teams to start—  and a critical driver of Assembled's success over the coming years. We will rely on you to build our recruiting processes from the ground up while having an enormous impact on our culture along the way.

Responsibilities

  • You'll take end-to-end ownership of the recruiting process, ensuring that candidates leave with a memorably delightful experience of Assembled.
  • You'll be a trusted partner to our founders and teammates, helping us build our recruiting playbook for sourcing, interviewing, and closing.
  • You'll take a data-driven approach to continually improve our sourcing pipeline, offer rates and close rates.
  • You'll keep us accountable to our commitment to build a diverse and inclusive team while developing and executing on strategies to improve team diversity.
  • You'll get candidates excited about Assembled, and the opportunity to transform and elevate customer support.
  • You'll implement and maintain our recruiting systems.

About You

  • You're a hustler: You have the grit, determination and tenacity needed to push through roadblocks within highly unstructured environments.
  • You've put in the work: You have 4+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, and have past success in sourcing, project management and closing.
  • You can roll with the punches: You've previously thrived in rapidly scaling environments. You're a structured thinker who can balance multiple priorities at the same time, and have high attention to detail.
  • You have an eye for talent: You have a sense of what makes someone exceptional and don't need to solely rely on external signals of validation—degrees, past companies, and so on.
  • You're a pleasure to work with: You have high EQ, and are a team player who is highly collaborative.

We look forward to hearing from you.
